Dominic ‘The Shoe Surgeon’ Ciambrone has collaborated with The Dr. Brandt foundation for Art Basel Miami, to raise awareness about the importance of mental health with the #SayILoveYou campaign -- which aims to breakdown the stigmas of mental health through thoughtful and open conversation.

 

The #SayILoveYou speaker series panel will be moderated by Highsnobiety’s, Cory Stokes, with Dominic Ciambrone as the guest of honor, alongside panelists Stephane Colleu and Ana Campo, at 7:30pm on December 7th.

 

Dominic will debut a custom sneaker to represent the #SayILoveYou campaign. Using the classic Air Force 1 silhouette as his canvas, his personal handwritten story is incorporated into the panels of the shoe – the good and the bad, his real experiences of battling depression and anxiety, and the positivity of finding a way to channel those feelings – illustrating the spectrum of emotions that ultimately lead to the creation of a beautiful masterpiece. The shoes will be available in-person at Art Basel for $1,500.
